Bethel AWANA Clubs

AWANA begins Wednesday, September 5, 2012.

“Reaching Boys and Girls with the Gospel of Christ and Training Them to Serve Him”That is our purpose for having an AWANA Club ministry at Bethel Church. We realize that your child is a gift from God. The AWANA Club ministry is a tool we use to help your child come to know Jesus Christ in a personal way and to serve God who created him/her. AWANA Clubs accomplish this through scripture memorization and the teaching of God’s Word.

We count it a privilege to work with you and your family. Our leaders love children and receive training to help them help your child. We hope to see, along with you, your child’s growth in the Lord as he/she memorizes and applies God’s Word to his/her life.

Today, children deal with tougher, more serious issues than kids did 20 years ago. The good news is, that despite all the changes, God and His Word has been and will always be constant. In His unchanging Word, He challenges parents today to teach His commands to our children:

“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when  you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Here at Bethel Church, it’s our desire to come alongside parents and assist them in raising their children in the commands of our Lord. The AWANA Club ministries provide the tools to do just that. It has been proven to be an effective way for children to learn and apply God’s principles to their lives. We challenge you to work with your child at home to prepare for the club meeting each week. Doing so can be a special time as you help him/her learn God’s Word. As you help your child, you will also find yourself learning more of God’s Word
