When Pastor Abdalla was unexpectedly put in charge of the Alliance Church in Aleppo, he and his congregation had no idea they would be such an integral part of God’s plan to bring help, hope and healing in the midst of war and economic crisis.
At the height of the war, the Alliance Church, supported by Open Doors and CAMA Services, was helping 2,200 households each month.
April 17, 2022 marks the 11th anniversary of Syria’s civil war—and 11 years of God’s faithfulness.
It also marks a decade of millions of prayers for our Syrian sisters and brothers. We know that many of you have spent a decade or more lifting up the church in Syria as you’ve read the stories and responded to their needs.
